Job summary

Reading Truck seeks an Inside Sales Coordinator to manage and grow sales accounts, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the sales process.

You will source opportunities, collaborate with distributors and regional managers, and drive pipeline growth while maintaining product knowledge and accurate Salesforce CRM data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of customer service or sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in truck equipment, OEM automotive or similar industry is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.
• Understand the sales channel of customers, dealers and distributors.
• Communicate with customers, distributors and Regional Sales Managers via phone, email, or other channels to meet needs.
• Follow up with leads provided to Distributors to promote and sell Reading products.
• Team with channel partners to build a pipeline and close sales.
• Work with Regional Sales Managers and sales executives to develop opportunities.
• Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership.
• Develop relationships with customers to foster trust and loyalty.
• Assist Distributors in understanding ordering procedures and price book.
• Keep up with product and service information updates.
• Develop knowledge of Reading product line to interact with customers and distributors.
• Problem solve when issues arise with a positive demeanor.
• Create and maintain a database of customers on Salesforce CRM.

Reading Truck is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our sales team as an Inside Sales Coordinator. The candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales accounts, providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall sales process.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up.
• Understand the sales channel of customers, dealers and distributors.
• Communicate with Customers, Distributors and the Regional Sales Managers via phone, email, or other channels as needed to ensure all needs are met.
• Follow up directly with leads provided to Distributors by Reading to ensure Distributors are not only contacting each lead but also promoting and selling Reading Products.
• Team with channel partners to build a pipeline and close sales.
• Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and sales executives to build opportunities for further development and closure.
• Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership.
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
• Work closely with Distributors to help them gain a better understanding of Readings ordering procedures and the price book.
• Keep up with product and service information updates.
• Continuously develop a strong knowledge of Readings entire product line to effectively interact with Customers, Distributors and Regional Sales Managers.
• Problem solve when issues arise while maintaining a positive demeanor during challenging situations.
• Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers on Salesforce CRM.

Required Credentials

• Minimum of five (5) years of customer service or sales experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in truck equipment, OEM automotive or similar industry - preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Computer skills in Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred
