Job summary

WebMD Care Directories is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales of our online physician directory listings nationwide. This role emphasizes outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and a high-volume call approach to close new business.

You will leverage a hybrid in-office/remote schedule, with potential for 100% remote based on performance. Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years in inside/telesales, a B2B or digital products background, and strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years inside/telesales experience with a track record of success in selling or appointment setting.
• B2B and/or digital product experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Windows including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Sell WebMD Care and Vitals.com online physician directory listing space to medical practices nationwide.
• Utilize prospecting and consultative selling skills to identify opportunities to sell.
• Make 50+ calls per day and maintain a high-energy, organized, reliable approach.

Job description

Work-type: Starts with Hybrid, 3 days in office (Monday and Friday work from home)

Schedule: M-F, 8hrs/day, 40hrs/week

Compensation: Starts at $50,000 base salary ($24.04/hr) + uncapped commissions

First Year On Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000 to $90,000+

Sales Scope: Full-cycle (prospecting to close) for new business

Prospecting Method: Outbound prospecting (cold calling cold leads)

WebMD Care Physician Directory, one of the fastest-growing divisions within WebMD, is in search of an Account Executive to get in on the ground floor of our growing sales team!

What you will do:

• The Account Executive will be responsible for selling our WebMD Care and Vitals.com online physician directory listing space to medical practices across the country.
• The right person will utilize their prospecting and consultative selling skills, self-sufficiency, and initiative to identify opportunities to sell.
• This is a phone-heavy role, requiring 50 or more calls per day. We are looking for high-energy, organized, reliable, and goal-driven individuals to get in on the ground floor of our new sales team!

How you will contribute:

• Drive sales revenue and market share by managing a prospect list to achieve quota.
• Prospecting new clients through cold calling.
• Consult with the client to find strategies that will meet their business needs and will improve their ability to generate business.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate features, added value, and benefits of our patient referrals.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales and productivity goals.

This describes you:

• 1-2 years of inside/telesales experience with a track record of success in selling or appointment setting.

Compensation: $50,024 base, with top AEs consistently making $100,000+ in total compensation. Commissions paid monthly.
