Louisiana Cat is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for our Prairieville, LA location. The ISR will drive revenue by expanding the customer base, managing accounts, and serving as the primary contact for customers in the territory.

You will engage in prospecting, quoting, and selling rental machines, while learning our product lines and promotions to better advise customers and close deals. This role emphasizes relationship-building and market knowledge to grow our sales footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or related field.
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to multi-task in an organized, timely and professional manner.
• Strong communication and organizational skills preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and related software.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory through strategic cold calling and business development.
• Establish customer relationships with you as a single point of contact.
• Qualify, maintain, and update customer accounts and assets in the CRM system.
• Manage CQI (Customer Quality Index) and drive customer satisfaction.
• Place and quote rental machine opportunities; generate leads for all offerings.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are searching for an INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our growing operations at our Prairieville, LA location.

YOU

The Inside Sales Representative's goal will be to increase their assigned customer's overall experience, identify and qualify new customers, while increasing revenue for the Sales Department. The ISR is the "voice of the dealership to the customer, and the voice of the customer to the dealership." This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to transition from real estate, mortgage, or insurance sales.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Build relationships with existing and potential customers in the territory by strategic cold calling, prospect engagement, and business development
• Establish customer relationships with you as a single point of contact
• Qualify, maintain, and update customer account and asset information using CRM system
• Manage CQI (Customer Quality Index)
• Place open dialogue calls to assigned accounts (20+ connected per day)
• Field and direct incoming customer calls and walk-ins appropriately
• Learn, understand, and advise solutions for your customer's business issues
• Prospect/quote/sell rental machines
• Generate and forward comprehensive leads for everything the Company offers
• Know/apply all promotions and marketing campaigns when applicable
• Become accustomed to understanding customer buying signals and learn to close deals
• Maintain knowledge of competitive pricing, procedures, and trends
• Understand full-range of new and existing capabilities and features of all the Company's products

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

• HIGHLY PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• REQUIRED: Good verbal communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and problem-solving ability
• REQUIRED: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• REQUIRED: Ability to multi-task in an organized, effectively, timely, and professional manner
• HIGHLY PREFERRED: Well-developed communication and organizational skills
