Summary of Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the sale and support of Akron Brass and Hale products, providing service/support to dealers through email, telephone, and online platforms to generate sales for all product lines. The position involves expanding the content of Akron Brass and Hale products with existing customers and seeking new opportunities. Additionally, responsible for utilizing the planning process to identify and target opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute customer business plans.
  • Conduct sales activities to exceed sales plans (total sales, new, and key product sales) monthly and quarterly, monitoring performance through reports and scorecards.
  • Develop distributor networks through routine calls, online training, and education. Evaluate distributor performance and recommend new accounts, realignment, or termination to meet company objectives.
  • Engage in cold calling, lead generation, follow-up, product demonstrations, managing sales pipelines, negotiating deals, and closing sales.
  • Demonstrate effective territory and pipeline management using Salesforce CRM.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues via various communication methods.
  • Detail-oriented, driven, with an outgoing personality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn products and applications; familiarity with the Fire Industry is a plus.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
