Job summary

NEGWER MATERIALS INC. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to sell our full line of distribution products by phone and counter sales. You will determine customer needs, process payments, expedite quotes, and support counter sales while ensuring product displays and stock are optimized for profitability.

The role requires strong communication, Microsoft Office skills, and a willingness to travel as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related experience in construction sales preferred.
• Some college education preferred.
• Ability and desire to learn about new products and services.
• Comfortable with learning and using new technologies.
• Sufficient experience with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Determines customer's needs and recommends appropriate products and solutions.
• Accepts payment and applies it to the appropriate customer account.
• Expedites incoming sales calls, quotes and inquiries.
• Assists with counter sales.
• Arranges product displays and layouts to maximize effectiveness.
• Reorders products to keep shelves stocked.
• Assists other Inside Sales Representatives with other customers and product lines.
• Tracks jobs and reports findings to the Vice President of Sales/Location Manager.
• Coordinates deliveries with dispatch.
• Tracks and resolves pricing, credit, and delivery issues.
• Flexible/non-traditional schedule may be required, and some travel.
• Performs other necessary functions as assigned.
