Job summary

V&S Galvanizing LLC in Millington, TN is seeking an outstanding Inside Sales professional to join our Millington facility. You will understand customer needs, track sales opportunities, document results, and liaise with plant production.

The role involves preparing and sending quotes, closing deals, supporting marketing efforts, and maintaining product knowledge and quality standards while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Previous inside sales or account management experience; manufacturing/steel preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Windows-based tools.

About the Role

We are currently searching for an outstanding individual to fill our Inside Sales position at our Millington, TN facility.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs and requirements.
• Track and document sales opportunities and results.
• Collect and maintain project-related documents.
• Assist with various marketing efforts.
• Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
• Understanding customers' needs and identifying sales opportunities.
• Keeping up with product, service information, and updates.
• Prepare and send out sales quotes.
• Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
• Act as a liaison between customers and plant production.
• Ensure quality standards are being met.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Inside sales experience or account management experience (previous experience in manufacturing and/or steel preferred).
• Ability to interact with internal resources including sales team, management and executives.
• Clear, professional, and concise verbal and written communication.
• Ability to adapt and prioritize work to support our customers.
• Highly proficient computer skills including the use of Word, Excel and other Windows-based programs.
• Bachelor’s Degree (highly preferred)
