Job summary

Flow Control Group is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support specialist to handle inbound calls, coordinate with outside sales and engineering, and prepare quotes for equipment and services. You will maintain customer communication, help identify growth strategies, and ensure accurate order records in the system.

The role emphasizes strong organization, excellent communication, and a collaborative approach within a fast-paced environment across North America.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, capable of thriving in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customers and team members.
  • Works well with others and can collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn technical product information.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming sales calls to foster positive customer relationships and generate sales.
  • Support outside sales reps and engineering with admin tasks, project coordination, and customer communication.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes for equipment and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve queries promptly.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify strategies for sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Record all sales activities in the company’s system with accurate reports.
  • Assist other departments like shipping and accounts receivable when necessary.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement strategies for sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company’s product lines and services as well as its competitive positioning.
  • Ensure all sales activities are recorded in the company's operating system, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Be willing to assist other departments like shipping and receiving, accounts receivable when necessary.
