Job summary

Magnatex Pumps, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support gasket, fastener, and hose business from Houston. The role focuses on customer support, quoting parts and services, ordering parts, and helping re-engage potentially lost customers.

The position is full-time with Monday–Friday hours; a high school diploma and customer service background are preferred. Knowledge of Excel is a plus, with emphasis on accuracy and communication.

Our Magnetic Drive Pumps, ANSI Mechanical Seal Pumps and Small Gear Pumps handle everything from recovery solvents to heat transfer fluids, viscous liquids, acids, bases, toxic or noxious liquids, and high purity fluids. For Magnetic Drive Pumps, ANSI Mechanical Seal Pumps and Small Gear Pumps turn to Magnatex Pumps.

The Inside Sales Representative role supports our gasket, fastener, and hose business. This position would maintain and grow customer support and sales. Additionally, assist in the re-engagement of potentially lost customers.

Essential Functions

• Receiving calls/e-mails from customers
• Researching and quoting customers on parts and/or services
• Ordering parts
• Managing sale price and GP
• Communicating receipt of parts to customers
• Assist in the inventory maintenance of service parts
• Assist in the accuracy and timely billing of parts service
• Customer retention and engagement
• Assisting in generating leads for service and sales
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Self-motivated
• Knowledge of Excel is a plus, but not necessary
• Background in customer service

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
