Hood Distribution is seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Hagerstown, MD facility. The role focuses on managing all sales functions, building strong customer relationships, and growing both new and existing accounts through outbound calls, email, and social selling in a transactional yet consultative environment.

The position offers a base salary of $40,000.00 to $48,000.00 plus uncapped commission, with no cap on commissions and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Manage all sales functions, administration, communication, and business planning for an assigned geographic territory.
• Grow customer relations.
• Grow existing customer sales.
• Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales base.
• Maintain a high volume of activity focusing on multiple touchpoints including outbound calls, emails, and social selling in a transactional, yet consultative, environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Inside Sales responsibilities for a defined territory.
• Drive new business and grow existing customer sales velocity.
• Qualify leads, manage pipeline, and close deals.
• Orchestrate activities with sales, drivers, warehouse, accounting, purchasing and management.

Hood Distribution, established in 1899, is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber & plywood as well as related specialty wood products. We currently have twenty-three locations, providing distribution into the eastern US as well as the Caribbean markets. Our primary customers turn our wood into something special.

BASE SALARY $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 + COMMISSION
