Salary range: $55k-$70k annually
Summary:
Using a balance of account management and direct telephone outreach, the primary responsibility of the Inside Sales position will be to develop and manage a designated territory with the goal of providing education and care coordination to prescribers for all Onco360 products and services. This role acts as a single point of contact, assisting prescribers in evaluating referrals and performing care coordination to meet service level requirements. This is typically done in coordination with a mirrored outside sales representative. The targeted customers include physicians, NPs, PAs, nursing staff, office managers, administrative and pharmacy staff within hospital and community oncology settings.
This position is home-based with minimal travel as required and includes the following responsibilities:
Regional Director Major Responsibilities:
- Seek opportunities for prescriber experience process improvement and collaborate with Pharmacy OPS and outside sales to achieve prescriber experience improvement and sales goals.
- Achieve call expectations for assigned prescribers, focusing on top targets, key influencers, and pipeline leads.
- Identify, rank, prospect, and develop key oncology practice and hospital-based business relationships within the targeted regional territory.
- Assist with sales escalations and communicate routinely with field sales representatives about prescriber or patient experience details.
- Support education and delivery of key messages and product presentations, including initiatives like Selling our Success, drug launches, etc., to meet performance requirements.
- Forward calls related to clinical information (e.g., dosing, adverse events, counseling) to Staff Pharmacists.
- Document updates and patient/physician interactions meticulously in each patient's profile and/or CRM.
- Handle customer complaints with discretion and judgment, documenting and forwarding issues appropriately.
- Manage prescriber communication preferences.
- Nurture and manage prescriber relationships to enhance loyalty and retention.
- Use the SPOC Tool to ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently throughout the workflow.
- Assist operations staff and prescriber offices with prior authorizations and coordinate follow-ups.
- Ensure timely communication of prescription renewals to maintain continuity of care.
- Collaborate with sales to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Regional Director Qualifications:
- 2 years’ retail or specialty pharmacy technician experience preferred, with familiarity in pharmacy terminology, billing, SIG codes, medication names, and IV dosage calculations.
- 2 years inside or outside sales experience in pharmacy or healthcare industry preferred.
- Oncology sales experience is desirable but not required.
- Exceptional probing and consultative communication skills.
- Familiarity with oncology providers, drugs, clinics, and hospital communities.
- Understanding of oncology drug reimbursement, Managed Care, Medical Specialty, and PBM drug benefits.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Strong communication, organizational, administrative, and office skills.
- Proficient in data entry, verbal and computer skills, and learning CRM software.
- Team player willing to accept organizational goals and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, or management.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions for practical solutions.
