Job summary

Kamco Supply Corp. of Boston is seeking a full-time team member to assist customers in a fast-paced building-supply environment. You will negotiate with vendors, place orders, assist walk-in customers, and generate price quotes.

You will maintain the showroom, handle order payments, resolve complaints, support outside sales, and interact with vendors for product training. A high school diploma and strong computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building industry and products.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with sales tools.
• Experience in construction or building supply sales is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate prices and place orders with outside vendors.

Qualified applicants should possess a knowledge of the building industry, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and work in a highly fast paced environment.

Position Summary But Not Limited To

• Negotiating prices and placing orders with outside vendors


• Communicate with customers & appropriate staff regarding changes to delivery schedules


• Work with walk in customers and pull small orders


• Processing order payments when required


• Generate price quotes to customers


• Maintain showroom and personal workstation area in a neat & organized manner


• Quickly helping to solve customer complaints and problems


• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure


• Support outside sales


• Interacting with vendors and participate in product training

Education And Or Experience

• Minimum High School Diploma


• Strong computer skills


• Experience in construction and building supply industry or product sales experience
