Job summary

ABC Supply Co. in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an Inside Sales Associate who helps customers choose roofing, siding and window products and processes orders with care.

You will upsell, coordinate pickups, follow up on deliveries and maintain stock, while delivering friendly, world-class service as part of a winning team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years roofing, siding or window experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail- and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow product/supply checklist and upsell additional products.
• Answer phones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payments and apply to customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and accuracy.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.

Education

1-2 years roofing, siding and windows experience

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented
