Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. in Danbury, CT is seeking Inside Sales Associates to help customers choose roofing, siding and window products and provide world-class service.

You will handle phone orders, upsell supplies, coordinate pickups, track deliveries and ensure accurate account management while delivering friendly, reliable support.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Detail and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Determine customer needs and recommend products.
• Use product checklist and upsell additional items.
• Answer phones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payments and apply to accounts.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions


• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies


• Answering telephones and entering sales orders


• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account


• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse


• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for


• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked


• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Effective time management and prioritization skills
