Job summary

Accu-Tech Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to interact with existing customers, increase sales, and up-sell products. You will obtain and process orders, explain stock status, and collaborate with outside sales to meet targets.

You will build opportunities from marketing and national accounts, review orders, and pursue continuous improvement in sales processes while maintaining accurate customer communications.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of sales and sales administration experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Obtains orders through email and telephone, verifies items, and escorts orders to fulfillment.
• Suggests related items to increase order value and checks customer history.
• Owns and develops opportunities from marketing, outside sales, and national accounts.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Prepares quotations to secure orders and assess losses of orders.
• Reviews open orders and takes action on items at risk of late delivery.
• Maintains backorder and expediting reports, and notifies customers.
• Reports industry trends, pricing, and customer feedback to management.
