Sunstate Equipment Co. in Anaheim, CA is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to grow revenue by acquiring new accounts and upselling.

The role blends office work and yard support, with 80% in-office and 20% in the yard, and involves coordinating with dispatch and management to deliver solutions. The position offers pay from $24 to $30 per hour, weekly pay, and a quarterly performance bonus, plus boots allowance, free equipment rental, safety glasses, and other robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Sales ability and relationship-building.
• Team and independent work capability.
• Technologically capable with Microsoft Suite, CAD, and AS 400.
• Strong communicator with positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license and 21+ years old.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and document all incoming calls to assist customers with rental needs and inquiries.
• Process rentals, reservations, quotes, and driver orders as needed.
• Assist walk-in customers, vendors, or applicants in a professional manner.
• Help customers select equipment to fit their job and ensure safety.
• Coordinate with yard and shop via two-way radio for equipment needs.
• Enter lost rentals, rate inquiries, and service calls into logs.
• Review open contracts and credit card rentals for accuracy.
• Flag and relay leads to field sales for follow-up.
• May help load/unload and deliver equipment when required.
• May work extended hours or on-call rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
