Sunstate Equipment Co. in Perris, CA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to expand revenue by acquiring new accounts and upselling, coordinating with dispatch and management to deliver services.

This role blends office work with yard activity, handling order processing, quotes, and customer inquiries while maintaining strong relationships. A weekly pay schedule accompanies a quarterly performance bonus, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Customer Service experience.
• 2+ years Inside sales (direct customer contact) experience preferred.
• Sales ability: identify customer needs through suggestive selling/upselling.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Team player and independent worker; versatile task handling.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite; CAD/AS 400 preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer and document all incoming calls to assist customers with rental needs.
• Process rental transactions: reservations, pickups, quotes, and returns as needed.
• Assist walk-in customers and vendors in a professional manner.
• Help customers select equipment for their job to ensure satisfaction and safety.
• Coordinate with yard and shop via two-way radio for loading/unloading and orders.
• Review credit card rental files daily for accurate billing.
• Enter lost rentals, rate inquiries, and service calls into the logbook.
• Review open contracts and credit card rentals for accuracy.
• Share leads with field sales for follow-up.
• May load/unload and deliver equipment to customers.
