Indy Equipment & Supply in Independence, OH is seeking an ambitious Inside / Counter Sales representative to join our one-stop shop for construction contractors. You will help customers with orders, quotes, and product information while maintaining a tidy showroom and safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–2 years related experience.
• Ability to learn computer software and input orders.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
• Lift up to 90 lbs.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Strong verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction goods, equipment, and products.

Responsabilités

• Answering sales calls and greeting customers inside the store, taking orders, and answering questions politely.
• Process will calls, special orders, backorders, quotes, and other order types.
• Maintain store appearance, stock shelves, and keep the sales area safe and tidy.
• Develop product knowledge and provide reliable information on specs, pricing, and availability.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
