Job summary

Darragh is seeking sales-oriented professionals to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will guide customers on tools, hardware, and materials, demonstrate how to use products, and help complete transactions efficiently.

Prior knowledge of construction materials is a plus. This role includes assisting warehouse staff, supporting Outside Sales, and maintaining accurate showroom item counts while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for customer service
• Ability to manage in-person customer traffic alongside phone inquiries
• Working knowledge of order processing systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Advises customers on tools, hardware, and materials and demonstrates use
• Assists internal customers such as warehouse personnel and teammates from other locations
• Aids Outside Sales in writing up transactions and drafting proposals
• Handles merchandise or cash in line with corporate policies
• Performs regular cycle counts for showroom items
