Job summary

Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is hiring a Counter Sales Associate/Backup CDL Driver in Shinnston, WV. This role combines inside sales with loading and delivering cylinders for industrial, medical, and specialty gases.

You will assist customers via phone, email, and in person while managing inventory and finance paperwork. Hazmat endorsed drivers with forklift experience are preferred and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B driver's license and Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• One year of Class A driving experience in the last five years and DOT regulatory familiarity.
• Ability to lift 25–75 lbs regularly and up to >100 lbs occasionally; willing to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Sell industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding supplies, and related equipment to customers.
• Support customers via email, telephone, and in-person visits, advising on equipment and material needs.
• Load/unload cylinders, operate forklifts, and back up a delivery driver as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage accounts receivable and pricing paperwork.
• Ensure safety, DOT inspections, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
