Job summary

Atlas Tube is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to lead and mentor the Inside Sales team, supporting sales, inventory, and customer service objectives. Sit on-site at one of our Atlas Tube locations (Plymouth, MI or other).

You will coach, develop, and monitor KPIs, drive process improvements, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and logistics to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Previous sales experience with demonstrated success in customer relationship management and sales growth.
• Ability to travel and support teams across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales team, creating a culture focused on customer satisfaction, accountability, and results.
• Establish, monitor, and improve key sales performance metrics and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain sales processes, work instructions, and best practices that support team success.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve sales effectiveness through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on products, pricing strategies, market trends, and customer needs.
• Analyze sales and business intelligence reports to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Conduct performance evaluations, create development plans, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for new team members.
• Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, logistics, and other departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure order entry accuracy, pricing integrity, invoice accuracy, and effective inventory management practices.
• Promote open communication, employee engagement, and a collaborative team environment.
• Represent the organization professionally during customer visits, industry events, presentations, and trade activities.
• Champion workplace health, safety, and compliance initiatives.
