Job summary

Windows & Doors By Brownell in Vermont seeks an Inside Sales Leader to coach and grow the sales team, partner with Sales, Operations and Service, and own a book of business across walk-in, phone, and online channels.

The role drives metrics, budgeting, and planning to support growth, requiring a Bachelor’s in Business and 5+ years of leadership in sales/ops within building materials or wholesale distribution; strong CRM/ERP skills and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales, operations, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience leading teams in building materials, wholesale distribution, millwork, or a similar industry preferred.
• Strong business acumen with experience using CRM and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Service to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Engage with walk in, phone and online customers directly and maintain own book of business.
• Analyze operational and sales metrics to identify trends and implement process improvements.
• Support departmental budgeting, operational planning, and company growth initiatives.
