Job summary

Air Hydro Power Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Support Specialist to handle incoming requests for quotes, orders, and lead times from customers.

You will provide technical guidance, research part specifications, and coordinate with other departments to fulfill purchase orders and add value for customers. You will use the P21 system to access customer information, stock status, and purchase order details, ensure correct codes, and collaborate with accounting on credit checks while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or P21 system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to quotes, orders, and lead-time requests from customers and outside sales reps.
• Use P21 system to retrieve customer data and manage purchase orders; ensure correct codes.
• Check credit status with accounting before orders are entered.
• Contact vendors to locate requested items to meet delivery requirements.

Description

Receives (by telephone, fax, or email) requests for quotations, orders and lead times from customers. Provides technical guidance to customers and routinely researches customer part specifications to complete customer quotes and orders. Coordinates with other departments in handling purchase orders and providing value-added services to customers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Respond in a timely manner to incoming tasks (including requests for quotes, order entry, application assistance, product selection, or resolving other customer issues) to both our customers and outside sales representatives of AHP.
• Use P21 system to retrieve customer information, stock status information, the status of purchase orders, and make changes to customer purchase orders. Ensures that correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information.
• Checks with accounting department concerning credit status of customer when orders are entered into P21 System.
• Contact vendors to locate requested items to meet customer's delivery requirements. Relay this information to customer.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Related experience and/or training are strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• The essential functions of this role regularly require the employee to sit; use their hands to grasp, handle, or feel objects; and to speak and hear effectively. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
