Job summary

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor for pipe, valve and fittings, seeks a full-time Inside Sales / Counter Sales rep with mechanical and industrial piping experience to prepare quotations and handle inside and counter sales at our Raleigh, North Carolina location.

Responsibilities include answering phones, taking orders, providing order status, and coordinating sales with professional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of both is preferred.
• Demonstrate trade experience and knowledge of mechanical and industrial piping applications.
• Able to project professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Motivated team player who takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for answering phones

• Preparing quotations and bids
