Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent; advanced education or degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of health care/medical sales experience preferred.
• 2-3 years proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Must reside in Ohio.
• Valid Ohio life/health insurance license.
• Ability to think/act independently.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the assigned Sales Consultant to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Develop sales strategies to win medical and specialty business through brokers.
• Support broker inquiries and coordinate activities when the Sales Consultant is out.
• Conduct broker training and assist agents with marketing efforts.
• Maintain regular contact with brokers and build productive selling relationships.
• Collaborate with product specialists to promote specialty lines and broker opportunities.
• Prospect new or inactive brokers to generate sales opportunities.
• Handle outbound calls, inbound inquiries, and product support questions from brokers.
• Document activity in Salesforce and track conversations and meetings.
