Job summary

Johnson Brothers Liquor Company in Dallas, TX is seeking an Inside Sales Consultant to collaborate with our outside sales team to meet company goals. This role will obtain and maintain orders from an established group of accounts and interact with customers by telephone to place orders.

The position involves calls to prospective customers to generate brand awareness, nurture relationships for ongoing orders, and ensure accurate data entry of orders.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4-year BA/BS degree or related industry experience.
• Prior telephone sales experience (preferred).
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Applications and the ability to learn new programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
• Goal and results driven with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Calls potential new customers to create brand awareness and obtain initial orders.
• Responsible for making sales calls to an established customer base.

The Sales Consultant position services retail stores. General responsibilities comprise of the proper management of an established sales territory including selling, servicing, merchandising, administration and ensuring up-to-date accounts receivable.

Job Description

Our Inside Sales Consultant works alongside our outside sales staff to meet company goals. In addition to reaching out to potential new customers, this position will obtain and maintain orders from an established group of accounts and interact with customers by telephone to place orders.

Position Duties

• Calls potential new customers to create brand awareness and obtain initial orders.
• Responsible for making sales calls to an established customer base.
• Accurate data entry of customer orders.
• Maintains ongoing relationship with customers to ensure consistent orders on an ongoing basis.
• Identifies / closes and maintains orders from existing and new customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Flexible hybrid schedule for remote work
• Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM schedule- no travel required.
• This position is salaried + incentives eligible.
