Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Columbus, OH to help customers select roofing and building products and to process orders efficiently.

You will determine customer needs, follow checklists, upsell, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining accuracy and a positive team mindset. 1–2 years in roofing sales is preferred; strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in commercial roofing sales preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with sales systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend products and solutions.
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and upsell items.
• Answer phones and enter sales orders; process payments to appropriate accounts.
• Coordinate customer pick ups with the warehouse and follow deliveries for on-time arrival.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked and address service concerns as needed.
