Job summary

Acme Tools in Rochester, MN is hiring a full-time Inside Sales Associate to help customers find the right tools, close sales, and load products as needed.

You will work 40 hours weekly with evenings, weekends, and holidays off, and you will receive a comprehensive benefits package including 6 paid holidays, PTO from day one, employee discounts, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Proven communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
• Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Identify customers' needs and provide knowledgeable assistance to select tools or equipment.
• Close sales, invoice orders, and help load products as needed.
• Stay informed on all new and current products carried by Acme Tools.
• Answer questions over the phone and in person, provide quotes, and research product and inventory.
• Help customers with starting procedures, break-in periods, and post-sale follow-up.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and stock shelves.
• Participate in store events and inventories, and support safety standards.
• Complete related tasks as assigned.
