Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Good communication skills (in-person, over the phone, and via email).
• Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting all guests and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collecting customer information and checking out customers’ merchandise using a point-of-sale system.
• Handling and bagging customers’ merchandise and coordinating assistance for loading customers’ products.
• Staying informed on sales, rebates, and promotions of products.
• Directing customers to Inside Sales Associates if they have questions or need help selecting products.
• Answering customers’ questions over the phone, providing sales quotes for future purchases, and researching product and inventory.
• Keeping a clean and organized sales floor, including product displays and work areas (fronting, pricing, and stocking sales shelves when not assisting customers).
• Participating in store events (physical inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, special sales, etc.).
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting suspicious activity.
• Completing related tasks as assigned.
