Job summary

Acme Tools in Duluth, MN is hiring an Inside Sales Associate for full-time hours. You’ll assist guests, identify needs, provide product recommendations, and process sales and invoices while representing a family-owned, community-focused retailer.

You’ll enjoy a competitive starting wage of $18–$20 per hour, access to benefits including PTO from day one, health/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company matching. Weekend rotation required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Proven communication skills, both verbally and written.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Identify customers' needs and provide knowledgeable assistance to help select the correct tool or equipment.
• Close sales and invoice, and help load products as needed.
• Stay informed on all new and current products carried by Acme Tools.
• Answer customers' questions over the phone and in person, provide quotes, and research inventory.
• Assist customers with equipment purchases, starting procedures, and post-sale follow-up.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor including pricing and stocking shelves.
• Participate in store events and maintain safety standards.
• Complete related tasks as assigned.
