Braen Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to work at our Haledon, Randolph and Wanaque, NJ locations. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge of masonry, landscape and hardware, and timely communication.

The position is hourly, non-exempt from overtime. Hours typically 7:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–1:00pm on Saturdays; bilingual skills preferred; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; travel among Braen Supply locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Very customer service oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual skills strongly preferred.
• Experience with masonry, landscape and hardware products is preferred but not required.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Description

Overtime Status: Non- Exempt

Braen Supply, the premiere landscape, masonry, and hardware building supplier in the greater tri-state area, is currently seeking an Inside Sales Associate who is able to work at our locations (Haledon, Randolph & Wanaque, NJ).

We are a safety minded company and expect the successful candidate to be as well. This position is hourly, non-exempt from overtime. Overtime is paid after 40 hours are worked each week. Hours of work are will vary. This position may be subjected to seasonal layoffs.

Expectations/ Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Candidate will be very customer service oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment


• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Exercise exceptional customer service via phone, email and in person


• Experience with masonry, landscape and hardware products is preferred but not required


• Extensive product knowledge will be expected


• Ability to multitask


• Ability to stay calm under pressure


• Possess patience when assisting contractors and homeowners


• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Hours of work are generally 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays.

Pay Rate: $19.00-$24.00/Hour
