Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply in Apex, NC is hiring an entry-level operations teammate. The role includes customer service, warehouse tasks, inventory support, local deliveries, and sales assistance, with on-the-job training provided to ensure success. No prior industry experience is required; we offer hands-on training and a friendly, team-oriented culture.

Pay starts at $20.00 per hour DOE. Candidates must lift 50–75 lbs, have a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in

Responsibilities

Greet customers, answer calls, field questions, and build customer relationships.
Support customers in selecting landscape materials and irrigation products.
Pull, stage, and load orders including stone, soil, mulch, and hardscape materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked warehouse and yard.
Receive and stock deliveries and transfers; assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
Load and unload materials using delivery vehicles; deliver to local job sites with excellent service.

Responsibilities

This role supports the day-to-day operationsin a fast-paced wholesale environment serving contractors and industry professionals.Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Customer Service & Sales

Greet customers, answercalls, fieldquestions, andbuildcustomerrelationships.

Supportcustomers in selecting landscape materials, outdoorsupplies, andirrigation product recommendations.

Warehouse & Yard Operations

Pull, stage, and load customer orders, including stone, soil, mulch, and hardscape materials.

Prior Outdoor Supply Industry Experience
Must be comfortable working most of your shift on your feet and performing repetitive physical tasks, such as stooping, squatting, and lifting items above your head.
Must be comfortable operating and making deliveries on a daily route in an Isuzu NRR 650 or similar commercial vehicle.
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Basic math skills
Be able to lift 50-70 pounds
Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
Valid driver’s license
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good driving record with no traffic violations
