This position is geared to someone who is highly organized and has excellent communication skills. As a main point of contact for customers, it is critical to always be ready to tackle new obstacles to best support our customers. While in depth knowledge of solar electrical gear is not an initial requirement, it is expected that the candidate be ready to learn many of the basic functions and design elements related to the products to quickly and efficiently work with our internal teams as well as client requests. - Sift through client RFP data to identify pertinent project requirements
- Provide any necessary data or reports to the sales team
- Keep project and client data in CRM up to date
- Organize and evaluate data for incoming projects
- Assist in preparation and submission of quotes
- Maintain an organized and accessible digital file system for administrative and sales professionals
- Handle any necessary administrative work including filing reports or presenting sales team with necessary documents
- Acknowledge customers by promptly responding to emails, texts, and phone calls
- Answers phone calls from customers regarding deals and assist in resolving any issues as they arise
- Follow up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular product and services
- Follow up internally with engineering and production to ensure timely responses to clients
- Significant experience in administrative/operational role supporting a Sales/Business Development team
- Experience with CRM systems and excellent Excel skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable and eager to learn; self-starter who is willing to wear multiple hats to accomplish goals and can work independently w/o supervision once trained
