Job summary

Precision Pump & Valve (PPV), an MCE Company, is seeking an energetic Inside Sales Representative based in Midland, TX. You will qualify leads, generate quotes, process orders, and support outside sales to ensure customers in the Permian Basin receive essential safety relief valves, control valves, and process equipment.

You will manage high-volume calls and emails, use ERP/CRM tools, and help maintain inventory and warehouse accuracy to keep key industrial customers supplied.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of inside sales or account management with a proven close record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong listening skills.
• Comfortable using phone, email, and digital channels to move opportunities forward.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to qualify leads and develop new opportunities.
• Generate quotes and purchase orders daily in the ERP/CRM system; follow up on quotes.
• Process customer orders and coordinate with outside sales for closure.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory levels and support shipping/receiving activities.

We take care of our team with a full benefits package:Medical, dental, and vision coverage.Company-paid life, AD&D, and short- and long-term disability insurance.401(k) with a generous company match.Generous PTO and paid holidays.Tuition reimbursement, we invest in your development.Paid parental leave.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Voluntary benefit products.What You'll DoInside Sales & Customer DevelopmentMake a high volume of outbound calls daily, develop new leads, qualifying prospects, generating interest, and moving opportunities through the sales process.Understand customer needs and requirements; route qualified opportunities to the appropriate outside sales representatives for further development and closure.Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest across oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial customers in the Permian Basin and surrounding markets.Retain and grow existing customer relationships through a proactive outreach model, staying ahead of customer needs before they call someone else.Quoting, Orders & ERPGenerate accurate quotes, purchase orders, and customer orders daily in the ERP system.Follow up on quotes with customers and vendors via phone and email to drive conversion and keep opportunities moving.Generate shipping labels for various carriers; pull and pack parts and orders per customer request.Check in incoming freight and parcel deliveries; maintain accurate receiving records.Inventory & Warehouse ManagementResponsible for warehouse inventory management, conducting frequent counts, reordering stock, and maintaining adequate inventory levels to support customer demand.Partner with outside sales, marketing, and customer experience teams to support lead generation, quote conversion, and large account activity.What We're Looking ForMust Have:3+ years of inside sales, sales development, or account management experience with a proven ability to close.Strong phone presence, you're comfortable making dozens of calls per day and can build rapport quickly.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) and experience with ERP and/or CRM platforms.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong listening and organizational ability.Comfortable working fluidly across phone, email, and digital communication channels.Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Nice to Have:5+ years of customer service or inside sales experience.Knowledge of process valves, fluid power systems, or related MRO/industrial products.Fluid power systems training or certifications.Familiarity with oil & gas, petrochemical, or Permian Basin industrial markets.About Precision Pump & Valve (PPV)Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Lake Charles, LA, Precision Pump & Valve (PPV) is a VR-certified, full-service provider of specialty process controls, including safety relief valves, control valves, regulators, chokes, and chemical injection pumps, serving the oil & gas, petrochemical, and refining industries across the Gulf Coast and West Texas.
