Job summary

Darragh-Company in Little Rock, AR is seeking a customer-focused sales associate to provide excellent service and drive direct sales. You will assist customers with tools, hardware, and materials, ensuring accurate transactions and timely help.

This role emphasizes hands-on product knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work with warehouse staff, accounting systems, and outside sales to support contractors with quality solutions.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide customer service to all customers.
• Ability to manage in-person customer traffic along with incoming phone customers.
• Working knowledge of order processing systems, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Advises customer on tools, hardware, and materials needed, and procedures to complete tasks.
• Assists internal customers such as warehouse personnel and teammates from other locations.
• Aids Outside Sales in writing up transactions, researching product and manufacturer info, and drafting proposals.
• Performs all functions relating to handling merchandise or cash in accordance with corporate policies.
• Performs regular cycle counts for showroom items per company procedures.
