Darragh Company in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Driver/Material Handler to load/unload materials and transport products as needed. You will operate a Class 6 straight truck or Class 3 with trailer and ensure orders are accurate and safely prepared for delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a DOT medical card, and lifting up to 75 pounds with assistance. Forklift certification is a plus, with opportunities for training and growth.

Responsabilidades

• Assembles and fills orders for shipment to customers and checks picking accuracy.
• Pulls and assembles orders for will call customers quickly and politely.
• Loads materials onto pallets or crates and secures with straps to prevent movement.
• Safely assist in loading/unloading at customer locations and report problems when possible.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the branch warehouse and yard.

You will utilize a Class 6 straight truck or Class 3 with trailer to transport and deliver products when needed. Knowledge of the construction industry and concrete services a plus. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Assembles and fills orders for shipment to customers then reviews all orders to ensure picking accuracy.* Pulls and assembles orders for will call customers quickly, accurately, courteously, and respectfully.* Loads materials onto pallets or into crates that contain products for transfer to all locations and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.* Safely assist in the loading and unloading of the product to customers’ location and return products.
