Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is assisting a well-established manufacturing client in DeKalb, IL to hire an Inside Sales Associate. The role focuses on supporting customer relationships, sales operations, and growth initiatives.

You will collaborate across departments to ensure accurate pricing, scheduling, and delivery updates. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree preferred and experience in manufacturing or distribution, with solid MS Office skills and ERP familiarity.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and outside sales representatives.
• Provide pricing, product information, production schedules, and shipping updates to customers.
• Coordinate with production teams to manage order fulfillment and shipping timelines.
• Partner with freight carriers to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
• Maintain and update customer pricing information and records.
• Generate and distribute sales reporting and business data.
• Assist with customer return and material authorization processes.
