Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises seeks an Inside Sales Agent in Los Angeles to drive membership and personal lines insurance sales. You will handle inquiries, quote prospects, and contribute to monthly sales goals while leveraging AAA products and services.

The role requires a college preference and 1–3 years in insurance sales, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to obtain Personal Lines and Life licenses. Expect evening/weekend work and a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years insurance sales experience preferred.
• College degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain Personal Lines and Life Insurance licenses.
• Background, credit check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Qualifying prospects, quoting memberships and personal lines insurance products.
• Collecting premiums, binding coverage, entering policy data into systems, and responding to underwriting inquiries.
• Developing knowledge of policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and systems.
• Following up with members and prospecting for new business.
• Inspecting documentation and resolving membership and insurance problems.
• Multi-tasking and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Working some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Qualifying and quoting prospects, selling memberships and personal lines insurance products.
• Collecting premiums, binding coverage, entering policy data into insurance systems, and responding to all underwriting inquiries.
• Developing a complete and thorough working knowledge of all insurance policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and insurance systems.
• Following up with members and insureds and prospecting for new business.
• Inspecting related documentation and resolving membership and insurance problems using discretion and independent judgment.
• Multi-tasking and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Working some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred, high school diploma required
• 1-3 years insurance sales preferred
• Must have moderate proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Advanced communication skills required, both written and oral.
• Ability to qualify for a Personal Lines License and a Life Insurance License
• Possess a competitive sales drive to meet and exceed monthly goals
• Successful completion of background, credit check, and drug screen

Training

We provide comprehensive and employee centric training that will prepare you to obtain an insurance (P&C) and Life license and prepare you for success.

Compensation

Our sales agents start at an hourly rate of $28.85. After completion of the training program, our full‑time sales agents successfully meeting sales goals earn on average between $83,900.00 - $102,600.00 annually. Commissioned opportunities are uncapped when exceeding sales goals.
