Job summary

The Cary Company, a leading supplier of packaging and industrial supplies, seeks an Account Manager for our Inside Sales Team in Addison, IL. This on-site role reports to the Addison facility and focuses on engaging customers, managing accounts, and driving sales growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous customer service or sales experience highly advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation abilities, and proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries with speed and professionalism, provide detailed product information and pricing, and effectively resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive sales by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities during customer interactions, and grow your book of business.
• Develop strong relationships with key accounts, managing larger quotes and ensuring all customer needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Work closely with other departments, including customer service, logistics, accounting, marketing, and warehousing to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, transactions, and progress within our CRM system.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs through strategic sales initiatives and excellent account management.
• Focus on warm leads with a high potential for conversion.
