American Dream Search is partnering with a Cleveland-area steel service center to hire an Experienced Inside Sales / Account Manager. You’ll focus on supporting and growing existing customer relationships, not cold calling, and you’ll work closely with outside Account Executives as the main contact for established accounts.

The role requires knowledge of steel, strong communication, and the ability to manage orders, inventory, processing and deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in the steel industry, steel service centers or steel processing.
• Inside sales, account management, customer service or sales support experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and orders at once.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Understanding of steel processing and general order flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day needs of existing customer accounts
• Handle inbound orders, releases, questions and customer requests
• Enter and maintain sales orders, pricing, quantities and freight terms
• Monitor inventory positions and upcoming material requirements
• Coordinate processing, purchasing, shipping and expedited orders
• Track material and order status against customer due dates
• Partner closely with Account Executives and internal departments
• Maintain accurate customer specifications, pricing and account information
• Proactively communicate issues that could impact customer service or delivery

Inside Sales / Account Manager — Steel

Location: Cleveland, OH — East Side

Work Arrangement: On-Site, Monday–Friday

Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 Base + 10% Annual Bonus

The Opportunity

American Dream Search is partnering with an established Cleveland-area steel service center to hire an experienced Inside Sales / Account Manager .

This role is focused on supporting and growing existing customer relationships, ++NOT++ cold calling or heavy new-business development. You’ll work closely with outside Account Executives and serve as a key point of contact for customers once accounts are established.

The ideal candidate understands the steel business, enjoys customer interaction, and can manage the details required to keep orders, inventory, processing and deliveries moving smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day needs of existing customer accounts

What We’re Looking For

Compensation & Benefits

Base: $70,000–$90,000

Bonus: 10% annually
