Job summary

Capital Pump & Equipment is seeking a Rental Coordinator to professionally service telephone and in-person customers for pump rentals and sales. You will negotiate orders, create rental contracts, support sales development, and maintain a courteous, professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities include qualifying customer needs, arranging transportation, administering contracts, handling invoices, and assisting in marketing efforts. Must pass drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL a plus.
DOT Medical Card preferred.
Experience in rental/pump industry.
HDPE fusion experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Determines/understands customer equipment rental needs through qualifying questions; provides alternative equipment suggestions based on information obtained.
Places high volumes of equipment orders by obtaining customer information and finalizing rental/purchase details; organizes transportation.
Administers rental contracts including dates, rates, charges, amendments, & suspensions; handles invoicing and credits.
Handles customer complaints professionally to resolve issues.
Supports sales by prospecting calls and forwarding leads to the sales group.
Records calls in logs and maintains lost rent records.
Reviews daily management reports and provides feedback to Branch Manager on fleet/inventory/pricing.
Participates in After Hours and Emergency Response efforts.
Follows SOPs and safety policies; performs other duties as assigned.
