Ziegler CAT in Columbus, MN is seeking an Inside Rental Sales Representative to partner with the sales team, grow existing customer accounts, and drive lead generation. This role involves proactive outbound calling and maintaining CRM records to support territory growth.

You will respond to inquiries, prepare rental quotes and contracts, coordinate equipment delivery with operations, and build strong relationships with customers while staying informed about products, pricing, and industry trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or equipment rental preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Contact prospective customers through outbound calling to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Complete all required sales documents including preparing, presenting, and following up on rental quotes, contracts, and certificates of insurance.
• Conduct proactive account management on assigned accounts by maintaining accurate records of customer information, leads, activities and rental transactions in CRM systems (SalesLink).
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support territory growth goals.
• Work with operations to coordinate equipment availability and delivery schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Assist in resolving customer issues and ensuring satisfaction throughout the rental process.
• Stay informed about product offerings, pricing, and industry trends.
