Wheeler Machinery Company in Salt Lake City seeks an Inside Rental Sales Representative to drive rental revenue growth through proactive engagement and timely management of inbound opportunities.

You will be the primary contact for leads from Rental Portal, WheelerCAT website, phone and email, converting inquiries into rental transactions and supporting fleet utilization and profitability while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, construction management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop rental business through outbound prospecting, account development, and relationship-building activities.
• Monitor and respond promptly to rental inquiries via Rental Portal, WheelerCAT site, phone, and email.
• Assess customer needs and provide equipment recommendations, rental solutions, and accurate quotations.
• Follow up on quotes and opportunities to improve conversion, revenue, and fleet utilization.
• Build strong customer relationships with responsive, professional service.
• Coordinate with rental operations/branches for availability, delivery, and expectations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of customers, opportunities, quotations, and activities.
• Collaborate with outside sales and internal teams to identify rental opportunities.
• Support objectives related to rental revenue, market share, retention, gross profit, and fleet utilization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
