Job summary

WPI is seeking an inside sales candidate to efficiently process customer orders and quotes by phone, fax, or email. You will analyze orders, reference serial numbers, and enter data into the WPI system while ensuring accuracy and timely updates to customer information.

The role requires some mechanical knowledge, strong computer and Windows skills, and the ability to work independently. Training will be provided and occasional callouts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some mechanical background or knowledge preferred.
• Must be computer literate in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders or quotes by phone, fax, e-mail, or walk-in.
• Analyze orders for accuracy and reference by serial number; enter into WPI system.
• Quote overhauls and spares as required; assist with stock and file updates.
• Receive stock into system and update customer information.
• Available for callout after 6 months from hire.
• Attend training classes to increase product knowledge and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
