Position Overview
Inside Sales Licensed P&C Insurance Agent – a pure sales role focused on quoting, closing, and earning with no renewals, service work, or cold calling. You will have access to qualified warm leads, advanced tools, and supportive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the Full Sales Cycle: Serve as a trusted advisor from initial contact to policy issuance, guiding clients through the quoting and binding process.
- Consult, Qualify & Close: Engage warm inbound and outbound leads, uncover coverage needs, and guide clients to the right coverage using our proprietary MY180 platform.
- Document Thoroughly: Capture every call, outcome, quote, and client detail using structured workflows, call scripts, and compliance protocols.
- Leverage Tools: Operate efficiently with HubSpot CRM and MY180 quoting software to manage your book and meet service-level expectations.
- Meet & Exceed Goals: Consistently hit KPIs in areas such as policy volume, premium, conversion rates, retention, and documentation accuracy.
- Cross-Sell Strategically: Recommend additional coverages in alignment with underwriting guidelines and customer needs.
- Partner Cross‑Functionally: Collaborate with Sales leadership, Underwriting, Marketing, and Analytics to improve customer outcomes and optimize internal workflows.
- Contribute to a Winning Culture: Share best practices, support teammates, and help build a high‑performing sales organization from the ground up.
Qualifications
Required Licenses:
- Active Utah or Texas General Lines P&C license in good standing.
- Willingness to obtain a Surplus Lines License within 60 days of hire.
Experience:
- 2+ years of closing personal lines P&C in a call center or direct‑to‑customer environment.
- Track record of consistently hitting volume‑based quotas and strong knowledge of metrics.
- Understanding of homeowners' insurance coverages, deductibles, limitations, and exclusions.
- Comfortable operating in a new environment where processes are still being built and able to contribute to improvement.
- Prior experience using a CRM such as HubSpot and familiarity with quoting systems and multi‑line product offerings.
