Job summary

O&G Industries Inc. is seeking an Inside Counter Sales Associate for our Stamford Mason Facility. You will be the first contact for customers, helping contractors and homeowners find masonry and construction materials, processing payments, and keeping the counter organized.

No prior materials experience is required; training is available. Saturday hours are required, and you will join a busy, hands-on team dedicated to excellent customer service and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, dependable, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and computer literacy.
• Willingness to learn masonry and construction materials.
• Retail sales or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the sales counter with purchasing masonry and construction materials.
• Process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and answer basic product questions.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately.
• Coordinate with yard staff to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area.
