Complete Logistical Services seeks an Inside Machinist II to support precision machining by programming, setting up, and producing complex components on CNC and manual equipment. You will ensure parts meet critical tolerances and surface finishes, documenting results for quality records.

The role emphasizes first-article validation, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to safety standards while working independently with occasional supervision in a defense manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 2 years experience machining complex components in precision/defense environment.
• Proficiency in CNC programming for lathe and mill operations.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC and manual machines.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, drawings, GD&T, and specs.
• Strong shop math, including decimals/fractions and trig.
• Ability to perform in-process inspections and document measurements.
• US citizenship (not dual).

Responsibilities

• Review and edit CNC programs for lathe and mill operations.
• Set up, align, and secure workpieces, fixtures, and tooling on CNC and manual machines.
• Conduct first-article runs and validate program results for dimensional accuracy and repeatability.
• Operate lathes, mills, grinders, saws, and related machinery as required.
• Machine complex components from HY-80, HY-100, stainless steel, Inconel, and submarine-grade alloys.
• Select speeds, feeds, tooling, and cutting methods to meet tolerances and finishes.
• Read and execute machining work from complex blueprints and GD&T callouts.
• Inspect, measure, and record data with precision metrology tools.
• Follow safety and cleanliness requirements per OSHA and NAVSEA.
