Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of insurance claims experience preferred.
• Knowledge of claims best practices and state insurance regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Decision making and problem-solving skills.
• General office skills (faxing, copying, filing, typing 30 wpm).
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, Windows 10, Outlook, Guidewire and ImageRight.

Responsibilities

• Resolve auto and property claims; assist customers, adjusters, and managers.
• Determine coverages, liability, and damages under policies.
• Provide timely, quality customer service and communicate resolutions to customers and peers.
• Organize time and effort to minimize days to close claims.
