Job summary

Alfa Insurance is seeking a Claims Adjuster to handle property and casualty and subrogation claims with accuracy and speed. You will join a team dedicated to customer service excellence and act to protect customers’ interests while maintaining high professional standards.

As a trainee, you will complete Alfa's Adjuster training and related programs, advancing to a full Adjuster role. The department emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and community impact while supporting career growth and robust

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor’s degree required; in lieu of degree, 2 years as an Adjuster or 3 years in related fields like auto repair, home/construction, law enforcement.
• Computer skills with Excel and Word are preferred.
• AIC certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all assigned property and casualty and/or subrogation claims efficiently and accurately.
• Complete Alfa Adjuster training during trainee period to move to Adjuster position.
• Maintain professional claims handling with fast, fair service and minimal customer complaints.
• Contribute to financial planning through adequate reserving and expense control.
• Ensure claimants and insureds are managed to minimize lawsuits.
