We offer:
1. Develops and executes in-service education programs tailored to the specific needs of the senior living community, focusing on areas such as resident care, safety protocols, infection control, medication management, and regulatory compliance topics.
2. Ensures training sessions are engaging, informative, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Regularly assesses the effectiveness of in-service programs through evaluations, feedback sessions, and performance metrics. Identifies areas for improvement and implements necessary changes to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
4. Works closely with leadership and external resources to stay informed on best practices, regulations, and industry trends related to senior care.
5. Maintains accurate records of in-service training sessions, attendance records, and staff certifications and prepares reports and documentation as required by the organization and regulatory agencies.
6. Provides leadership and guidance to staff members, serving as a mentor and resource for process improvement/quality assurance initiatives, professional development, and career advancement.
7. Oversees all aspects of Infection Prevention.
8. Provides direct support and collaborates with outside partnerships regarding clinical training for CNA programming.
9. Responsible for completing NHSN reporting.
10. Actively participates in the nursing on-call rotation.
11. May be required to work as a floor nurse and/or perform additional functions as needed.
Monday through Friday 8:00a-4:30p
Required: current and valid RN or LPN license in the state, at least three years of clinical experience in senior care, long-term care, or related healthcare setting.
Preferred: prior experience conducting clinical and other training content.
