Job summary

RRD is seeking a skilled insert machine operator to join our team. You will operate high-speed inserting equipment, set up for each job, and monitor performance to ensure quality and efficiency.

You will train colleagues, adjust settings as needed, and support production goals in a fast-paced environment, while complying with safety and EEO guidelines. This shift runs 6PM–6AM on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, with shift differential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
• Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent.
• Must have good eye-hand coordination.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to communicate in English -read, write, understand.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, 4-6 hours.
• Walking/standing, 6-7 hours.
• Bending/stooping, 2-3 hours.

Thepay range for this role at the noted location is $17.68 to $26.55 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
